Add 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, and start cooking over medium heat. When the mixture begins to bubble, turn the heat to low and let it simmer, stirring from time to time. Cook for approximately 16-18 minutes. When the water is absorbed, the paella is ready. Taste it! If you don't find it soft enough, add a little more hot water and continue cooking until the desired consistency is reached. Remove from the heat and, if desired, add butter and grated parmesan to make it creamier. Stir well and serve.\n Storage: please store in a cool, dry place away from light.
