Detailed product description
Pinus pinaster: 100% pure and natural
Main constituents: α-, β-pinene.
Possible allergenic components: limonene.
Plant origin: Portugal
Extraction method: by steam distillation of the resin of Pinus pinaster.
Botanical background: the maritime pine is a dark-green coniferous evergreen. It can grow up to 30 meters tall and, with sufficient light, can live for up to 500 years!
History: typically found in Mediterranean regions and around the Mediterranean Sea, but it is also cultivated in Italy, Morocco, and Portugal.
Aromatherapy use idea: disinfects and perfumes rooms.
For treating rheumatism: 2 drops of maritime pine essential oil and 6 drops of vegetable oil (e.g. sesame oil).
Precautions for use:
Flammable. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with the product's eyes. The use of the product is not recommended for children under 3 years of age, pregnant women, or breastfeeding women. It is safer to avoid applying cosmetics containing essential oil to the skin before sunbathing or using a tanning bed. Do not use undiluted on the skin. Essential oils are recommended for external use only.
