Detailed product description

Shea butter is pressed from the nut of the African shea tree; its color is white or yellowish, and it has a sweet, buttery scent. Central Africans and Ghanaians have been using its valuable active ingredients for thousands of years, and trade in shea butter is their main source of income. Shea butter is also called "women's gold," as its processing is considered the privilege of local women. In Europe, this extremely versatile butter, rich in beneficial effects, has spread in recent years. Shea butter can be used externally to treat burns, hydrate dry, scaly skin, for body and facial care, and to make a wide range of cosmetic products. Thanks to its vitamin-rich composition, and especially its high vitamin E and vitamin A content, it deeply hydrates the skin, reduces wrinkles, soothes inflamed, dry, stressed skin, and protects against harmful UV rays. Due to its valuable ingredients, it promotes cell renewal, thereby slowing down aging, and contributes to maintaining the skin's moisture content and elasticity. Because of its high fat content, it is particularly recommended for making facial creams and soaps. A significant part of the fats found in shea butter is non-saponifiable, meaning it retains its valuable ingredients even after the saponification phase; therefore, those with skin prone to dryness and sensitivity can confidently use soaps made with shea butter. The scent of shea butter is mild and sweet, not overpowering, so using it on its own provides a pleasant experience, but it can also be scented with various essential oils as desired. Its use is recommended for all skin types, but it is specifically suggested for sensitive, dry, and inflammation-prone skin. Unlike cocoa butter, shea butter is not photosensitive, so it can be safely used on skin exposed to direct sunlight and during the summer. Production: cold-pressed. Shea butter is a truly versatile natural butter extracted from the seeds of the shea tree fruit. This whitish or yellowish butter has recently conquered Europe, and its popularity confirms its effectiveness. Fields of use, without claiming to be exhaustive: as a base oil for face creams and body lotions, for treating cellulite and stretch marks, for daily skin care, for treating burns, for making massage cream, for soap making. Thanks to its high vitamin E content, it has excellent skin-regenerating and hydrating properties, which effectively assist in daily skin care and in reducing wrinkles and the skin's aging process. It nourishes and hydrates stressed skin down to the deepest layers, helping to preserve its natural water content. In the autumn and winter periods, it can be safely used on dry, chapped faces and hands as either a daily moisturizing cream or an overnight mask. Due to its high oil content, it can make dry skin soft and hydrated in just one or two days.
