The use of essential oils is as old as the sauna itself. Anyone can learn from the traditions of the Finnish sauna when to use which essential oil.
The skin-energizing effect of rosemary has perhaps been known for even longer than the beginnings of the Finnish sauna tradition, as ointments and oils made from rosemary were attributed with magical powers as early as the Middle Ages. The beneficial effects of lavender are even better known today. The oil obtained from its extract primarily relaxes and rests the body.
Unterweger Organic sauna oil with rosemary and lavender is therefore an excellent choice for those who heat up their sauna in the evening after a tiring day or even before going to sleep. Using it relieves stress and aids sleep.
Caution: do not apply directly to your skin, mouth, or eyes. If it does come into direct contact with the oil, wash it off immediately, and if the irritation persists, consult a doctor.
Usage recommendation: 15-25 drops of organic sauna oil, depending on the desired intensity, to 1 liter of infusion water.
