Christmas pudding recipe
By the time the turkey is gone and the roast vegetables are eaten, there is often very little room left for a big slice of Christmas pudding with brandy cream. Instead of throwing away the leftover festive pudding, turn it into another delicious dessert, such as this tasty trifle, which is ideal for a treat after the Christmas holidays.

Pudding and banana trifle
Ingredients:
- Leftover Christmas pudding
- Chopped hazelnuts
- Pear and banana puree
- Whipped cream
- Orange juice (or liqueur)
- Vanilla ice cream
How to prepare?
Assemble the Christmas pudding, puree, and ice cream in a large bowl or individual glasses in layers, starting with the Christmas pudding.
Pour a little orange juice or orange liqueur over it so that it permeates to the bottom of the bowl or glass.
Top with whipped cream, chopped hazelnuts, and grated chocolate. Cover and place the trifle or mini-trifles in the refrigerator to chill.
Serve to friends and family on Boxing Day, or as a simple but delicious dessert on New Year's Eve!
