Silky, shiny hair with excellent grey coverage! The 4C (Ash) shade is designed to neutralize unwanted reddish tones in hair prone to turning red. It can be used to recover the original brown shade, resulting in a natural, ash-brown color. We recommend it for ladies (and gentlemen) with brown hair whose hair turns reddish despite their best efforts when using store-bought brown dye. (Excess presence of red pigments)

Contains 8 herbal extracts, including aloe vera (leaf), witch hazel (leaf), white birch (leaf), echinacea (root), walnut (shell extract), rhubarb (root), cinchona (bark), meadowfoam (seed oil) - the most natural alternative to oxidation-based hair coloring. In addition to the botanicals, it contains a minimal amount of harmful chemical additives (0.37%), as evidenced by its odorless formula. It was developed for sensitive scalps prone to allergies. Uniquely, Herbatint dye can be used at least 3 times for root touch-ups!

Thanks to its gel-like, more fluid consistency, Herbatint hair color spreads better over the hair and scalp than any other hair dye, which is why we also recommend it for home use. Extremely rich in herbal active ingredients, this dye replaces many other chemicals. Aloe vera is well known for its antioxidant effects, vitamins, and enzymes, while hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) is rich in flavonoids and essential oils. Betula alba (white birch) tones and replenishes the hair with minerals, while echinacea angustifolia (echinacea) is hydrating, skin-protecting, and a natural antiseptic. Juglans regia (walnut shell) intensifies hair color and is an excellent cleanser and antiseptic. Rheum palmatum (rhubarb) has nourishing and anti-inflammatory properties and optimizes hair color. Cinchona calisaya (cinchona) has skin-protective effects, and limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) is rich in vitamins E and F. It ensures thorough coverage and long-lasting color for the hair dye, while hydrating and adding shine to the hair.

For best results, use it together with the appropriate shade from the Natural (N) series (mixed with the same number or a color 1-2 shades lighter/darker).

You can decide based on experience whether to use it alone or mixed with natural (N) colors.

For strong grey pigments, it is recommended to mix with a natural (N) color close in number, as follows:

10% - 20% grey => 25 ml 4N + 35 ml 4C + 60 ml glycol
30% - 50% grey => 30 ml 4N + 30 ml 4C + 60 ml glycol
60% - 100% grey => 45 ml 4N + 15 ml 4C + 60 ml glycol
When mixed with 2N, 3N, 4N colors, you get a very dark or darker shade; combined with 6N, 7N, 8N colors, you get a lighter shade.

Instructions for use:

Use the dye on dry, unwashed hair.

1.) In a plastic or glass bowl, mix the HERBATINT hair color gel and the glycol developer liquid in equal parts, taking into account the length of your hair. Screw the caps back onto the remaining bottles so that they can be used in the future.

2.) Apply the mixture to dry hair.

3.) Distribute the mixture along the entire length of the hair. Start the application at the roots and work towards the ends. Use a comb to distribute the mixture evenly.

4.) Leave the dye on for 40 minutes.

For root touch-ups

Apply the mixture to the grown-out roots and leave the dye on for 40 minutes.

After the coloring time has elapsed, foam up the mixture by gently massaging it with lukewarm water! Rinse your hair thoroughly until the rinse water runs clear.

Wash your hair with shampoo. Use Herbatint or another organic shampoo for the best results, rinse, and towel-dry your hair.

Use the Aloe Vera Royal Cream conditioner included in the box so the color lasts even longer; leave it on for 5 minutes, then rinse.

It is important to highlight that the cap is resealable, so it retains its quality for one year after opening, which means it can be used twice for short hair coloring, or three or four times for root touch-ups.

Attention! Do not mix with Copper (R), Gold (D), or Mahogany (M) colors! The Ash (C) shade was specifically developed to eliminate unwanted red tones.
