Detailed product description
Black Locust Flower - Robiniaeflos
It inhibits excessive stomach acid production and is also recommended for gastric and duodenal ulcers. It is primarily known and used as a cough suppressant, but it also has numerous other medicinal benefits. It is very effective for hyperacidity and reflux. It acts as a diuretic, antispasmodic, sedative, and tonic, and is also recommended for constipation. It can be consumed indefinitely, but as a treatment, it should only be drunk daily until the specific problem is resolved.
Preparation: Pour boiling water over 1 teaspoon of black locust flowers (2 dl). Let it steep for 5 minutes, then strain. You may sweeten it with honey if necessary.
For diuresis – drink one cup in the morning.
For laxative effects – consume one cup in the evening.
For stomach acid overproduction – 1 cup of black locust flower tea is recommended daily in the evening after a meal. Do not stop drinking the tea completely once the heartburn has ceased: drink a cup occasionally as a reminder.
For coughs – it is recommended to consume 2 cups daily for 1-2 weeks. It can be drunk alone or combined with other herbs (linden blossom, thyme, oregano, agrimony). It acts as a mucolytic for dry coughs and as an expectorant for productive coughs. Always prepare the tea fresh; the infusion, once cooled to lukewarm, can be sweetened with acacia honey. It should be sipped over half an hour in the morning and evening.
