Detailed product description
Anise seed - Anisii vulgaris fructus
It has an antispasmodic effect in case of digestive complaints and bloating.
It increases the secretion of digestive juices and improves appetite. In respiratory diseases, it acts as an expectorant by increasing mucus secretion. Based on folk medicine experience, it stimulates milk production. For coughs, it has antiseptic, antispasmodic, and expectorant effects. It can be advantageously combined with other medicinal herbs for similar purposes. It can also be used in pediatrics. Due to its flavoring and aromatic properties, the food industry uses it as a spice.
Preparation: For the infusion, 10 g of fruit and 1 dl of water are needed. More precisely, for infants, steep 5-6 anise seeds, and for adults, half a teaspoon in a cup of boiling water to make tea. Drink anise tea lukewarm, before meals.
