Goldenrod - Solidaginis herba
Goldenrod tea has diuretic and anti-inflammatory properties.
It can be effectively used for bladder and kidney problems, as well as for benign prostatic hyperplasia. It is primarily used for diseases of the excretory system, for cystitis, to prevent the formation of kidney gravel and stones, and to flush the urinary tract. It has diuretic and sudorific effects. It also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. It is also used for intestinal disorders, intestinal bleeding, high blood pressure, and for rheumatism and joint problems. Externally, it can be used as a compress or gargle for sore throats.
Preparation: Pour 2 dl of boiling water over 2 teaspoons of goldenrod, let it steep for 10-15 minutes, then strain. It is beneficial to drink a cup of tea 2-3 times a day between meals.
