Ingredients: artichoke leaf, peppermint leaf
Artichoke supports liver and gallbladder function and has a detoxifying effect. It stimulates bile production and aids in bile secretion. Both bitter artichoke leaf and peppermint have antispasmodic, carminative, and anti-inflammatory effects related to digestion.
Clinical trials confirm that artichoke leaf inhibits cholesterol synthesis in the liver. It is useful in cases of high blood pressure, as it dissolves cholesterol deposits in the blood vessels. Its use is particularly recommended in cases where our digestive organs are regularly overloaded.
It can also be consumed as a food and has no side effects.
Preparation: The herbal tea is prepared from 2-3 teaspoons of crushed leaves using 500 ml of water; the herb should always be added to boiling water (not heated together with the water), then boiled for 1 minute, and strained after 15 minutes. Half of the above dose should be consumed in the morning and the other half in the evening, 20-30 minutes before meals.
