Sea vegetables are naturally rich in iodine. People who are sensitive to iodine are advised to seek medical advice before consuming this product.
Wakame, a type of seaweed, is extremely popular in Japanese and East Asian cuisine. Its dark green fronds have a delicate yet appetizing flavor, along with a soft and tender texture. Our organic Wakame is versatile and easy to use. It is a perfect ingredient for miso soup, salads, and for enhancing stir-fry dishes!
To prepare, simply wash and soak in lukewarm water for 10-15 minutes (the strands will expand during soaking). Drain, rinse, and then boil for 5 minutes.
