Gluten-Free Bamboo Pasta - Casarecce
Casarecce is a traditional Sicilian pasta. Its name comes from “casereccio,” meaning “homemade.” Traditionally, the pasta was made by rolling small squares twice, and this method is still used today. High-quality casarecce pasta is characterized by its slightly rough surface, which, together with its shape, helps sauces adhere better. It is typically used in dishes with eggplant, tomatoes, cheese, and basil, but it is also excellent with pesto.
