Gluten-free brown rice pasta - Casarecce

'Casarecce' is a traditional Sicilian pasta. It derives from the word “casereccio,” meaning “homemade.” To this day, the pasta is traditionally made by rolling small squares twice. A characteristic of high-quality 'casarecce' pasta is its slightly rough surface, which, together with its shape, further helps sauces cling to it. It is typically used in dishes with eggplant, tomatoes, cheese, and basil, but it is also excellent with pesto.

Thanks to its special ingredients, it can also be safely enjoyed by people with gluten sensitivity and vegans.
