Detailed product description
Citrus limon100% pure and natural essential oil.
Main constituents: limonene, beta-pinene, gamma-terpinene.
Possible allergenic components: citral, geraniol, limonene, linalool.
Plant origin: Italy
Extraction method: from the peel of the lemon (Citrus limon) by cold pressing.
Botanical background: Rutaceae
The lemon tree can grow up to 6 metres tall, with glossy dark green leaves. Its fruit, the lemon, is generally 8–12 cm long, greenish at first and becoming increasingly yellow as it ripens.
History: The lemon tree was first cultivated in India or China in the tenth century BC. Interesting fact: its bark was once burned on a large scale during major epidemics.
Aromatherapy use idea: use it to freshen the air in your rooms during infectious diseases and to maintain emotional balance.
For an anti-cellulite effect: 2 ml lemon essential oil, 1 ml niaouli essential oil and 100 ml vegetable oil (e.g. hazelnut oil).
Precautions for use:
Flammable. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with the eyes. Use of the product is not recommended for children under 3 years of age, or for pregnant or breastfeeding women. It is safer to avoid applying cosmetics containing essential oils to the skin before sunbathing or using a sunbed. Do not use undiluted on the skin. Essential oils are recommended for external use only.
