Carob, also known as St. John's bread, belongs to the legume family. It has been highly valued in the Mediterranean and Middle East for hundreds of years. The completely untreated, fruity-caramel flavored powder is reminiscent of the taste of cocoa. Recommended dosage: Can be consumed both hot and cold. Mix 2 tablespoons of carob powder in milk or a grain drink. It is also perfect for making puddings, smoothies, or cookies.
