Detailed product description
Melaleuca leucadendron: 100% pure and natural
Main constituents: 1,8-cineole, limonene.
Potential allergenic components: limonene, linalool, geraniol.
Plant origin: Vietnam
Extraction method: Steam distillation from the leaves of the cajeput tree.
Botanical background: A strong, robust tree with long, green, lanceolate leaves. Cajeput is closely related to tea tree, but its oil is lighter, making it easier to use in aromatherapy.
History: Native to Indonesia, Australia, and the Middle East. The people of Malaysia have used it since ancient times to treat respiratory illnesses.
Aromatherapy use suggestion: to keep rooms fresh and make breathing easier.
For treating bronchitis and influenza: Rub 2 drops of cajeput essential oil and 2 drops of vegetable oil (e.g. hazelnut oil) onto the chest.
Precautions for use:
Flammable. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with the eyes. Use of this product is not recommended for children under 3 years of age, pregnant women, or breastfeeding women. It is safer to avoid applying cosmetics containing essential oils to the skin before sunbathing or using a tanning bed. Do not use undiluted on the skin. Essential oils are recommended for external use only.
