Myrtus communis: 100% pure and natural
Main constituents: alpha-pinene, 1,8-cineole.
Potential allergenic components: limonene, linalool, geraniol, citronellol, eugenol.
Plant origin: Morocco
Extraction method: From the leafy shoot tips of myrtle (Myrtus communis) by steam distillation.
Botanical background: red myrtle blooms from June to October, and its ripe fruit is dark purple. Myrtle can live for up to 250 years.
History: a sacred symbol in many cultures, often associated with the gods and Paradise.
Aromatherapy use idea: for the treatment of respiratory diseases.
For the treatment of psoriasis: 3 drops of myrtle essential oil and 9 drops of vegetable oil (e.g. argan oil).
Precautions for use:
Flammable. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with the product and eyes. The use of the product is not recommended for children under 3 years of age or for pregnant and breastfeeding women. It is safer to avoid applying cosmetics containing essential oils to the skin before sunbathing or using a tanning bed. Do not use undiluted on the skin. Essential oils are recommended for external use only.
