Detailed product description
Melaleuca viridiflora: 100% pure and natural
Main constituents: 1,8-cineole, alpha-terpineol, viridiflorol.
Potential allergenic components: geraniol, limonene, linalool.
Plant origin: Madagascar
Extraction method: Niaouli By steam distillation of the leaves of (Melaleuca viridiflora).
Botanical background: Niaouli belongs to the tea tree family and can grow up to 20 metres tall. It is evergreen, with fragrant leaves and thick white bark that easily peels away from the trunk.
History: Native to Australia and New Caledonia. The indigenous people of the latter, the Kanaks, have long believed that niaouli is effective in treating all diseases.
Aromatherapy use idea: to freshen the rooms.
For treating eczema: 2 drops of niaouli essential oil and 3 drops of vegetable oil (e.g. rosehip oil).
Precautions for use:
Flammable. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with the product and eyes. Use of the product is not recommended for children under 3 years of age or for pregnant or breastfeeding women. It is safer to avoid applying cosmetics containing essential oils to the skin before sunbathing or using a tanning bed. Do not use undiluted on the skin. Essential oils are recommended for external use only.
