Detailed product description
Lavandula angustifolia: 100% pure and natural essential oil.
Main constituents: linalyl acetate, linalool.
Potential allergenic components:
coumarin, geraniol, limonene, linalool.
Plant origin: France
Extraction method: By steam distillation of flowering lavender shoot tips.
Botanical background: the original, or medicinal lavender, grows mainly in Provence; other names include French lavender, fragrant lavender, and true lavender.
History: its beneficial effects have been known for thousands of years. In ancient times, rooms were disinfected by burning its stems and leaves, while in Provence they were used to beat washed, dried clothes so they would retain their fragrance.
Aromatherapy use idea: use it to scent your rooms and promote more pleasant sleep.
For treating burns: 30 drops of medicinal lavender essential oil and 30 ml of calendula oil.
Precautions for use:
Flammable. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with the eyes. The use of this product is not recommended for children under 3 years of age, or for pregnant or breastfeeding women. It is safer to avoid applying cosmetics containing essential oils to the skin before sunbathing or using a tanning bed. Do not use undiluted on the skin. Essential oils are recommended for external use only.
