Detailed product description
Cananga odorata: 100% pure and natural
Main constituents: germacrene-D, β-caryophyllene, α-farnesene.
Potential allergenic components: benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, benzyl salicylate, eugenol, farnesol, geraniol, isoeugenol, linalool.
Plant origin: France
Extraction method: By steam distillation from the flowers of Ylang-ylang (Cananga odorata).
Botanical background: Ylang-ylang is a tropical plant that can grow up to 30 metres tall. It has evergreen leaves decorated with prominent “veins”. It has a legendary fragrance.
History: It originates from Oceania and has been used for centuries as a fragrance and remedy. In the Indonesian archipelago, freshly picked flowers are steeped in coconut oil for use in hair and body care.
For a sensual massage: 3 drops of ylang-ylang essential oil, 1 drop of sandalwood essential oil, and 6 drops of vegetable oil (e.g. jojoba or coconut oil).
For stress relief: 1 drop of ylang-ylang essential oil, 1 drop of bitter orange essential oil, and 3 drops of vegetable oil (e.g. macadamia oil).
Precautions for use:
Flammable. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with the eyes. Use of the product is not recommended for children under 3 years of age, pregnant women, or breastfeeding women. It is safer to avoid applying cosmetics containing essential oils to the skin before sunbathing or using a tanning bed. Do not use undiluted on the skin. Essential oils are recommended for external use only.
