Yarrow - Achillea millefolium

Used internally: a medicinal herb with digestive, antispasmodic, carminative, and anti-inflammatory properties.
It possesses mild antibacterial and hemostatic effects. Yarrow is a medicinal herb that helps achieve calmness and relaxation, especially during menopause, but it is also suitable for treating nervousness and sleep disorders. Many tea blends used against vegetative complaints contain yarrow as an enhancing ingredient.

Preparation: Pour 2.5 dl of boiling water over one level tablespoon (3 g) of the dried herb, and strain after 15 minutes. Do not use a metal strainer. Sweeten to taste.
