Yarrow - Achillea millefolium

When used internally, this medicinal herb has digestive, antispasmodic, carminative, and anti-inflammatory effects.
It possesses mild antibacterial and hemostatic properties. Yarrow is particularly helpful for achieving calm and relaxation during menopause, and it is also one of the medicinal herbs suitable for treating nervousness and sleep disorders. Many herbal tea blends used against autonomic disorders contain yarrow as a synergistic additive.

Preparation: Pour 2.5 dl of boiling water over one level tablespoon (3 g) of the dried herb and strain after 15 minutes. Do not use a metal strainer. Sweeten to taste.
