Rosehip pulp - Rosa canina

Rosehip tea has a fortifying and immune-boosting effect. Due to its high vitamin C content, it is primarily recommended for upper respiratory tract infections, colds, and flu. Because of its pleasant taste, it can also be enjoyed as a recreational tea.

It has a mild laxative and diuretic effect. It is also beneficial for diabetics, as it lowers blood sugar levels.

Tea made from rosehip pulp improves digestion,

Preparation: To extract the vitamin C, it must be soaked in cold water for 6-8 hours. Use water that has been previously boiled and cooled. One teaspoon of rosehip pulp requires 3 dl of water. The strained liquid should only be warmed up before consumption (preferably on the stove and not in a microwave oven!)

Rosehip tea is harmless and can be consumed indefinitely. In summer, due to its pleasant taste, it is also recommended as a refreshing drink.
