Vitamin D together with vitamins K2 and A—but why?

Fat-soluble vitamins work synergistically: vitamins A, D, E, and K are much more effective together than on their own. In addition, they also provide protection against the toxic effects of vitamin D.

In the absence of vitamin K2, vitamin D may do more harm than good. Vitamin K2 activates proteins so that calcium is actually transported to the bones rather than accumulating in soft tissues; magnesium also plays this role. It is very important that  the dietary supplement contains K2 in trans form, and moreover at a minimum of 95%, so that K2 in cis form is present only in minimal amounts, as only K2 in trans form can fulfill its physiological role.

Vitamin A is essential for the utilization and functioning of vitamin D. The dosage is very important here, as too much can be just as harmful as too little! The WTN D3-K2-A vitamin complex contains an optimal amount, close to half the recommended daily intake. Multivitamins contain significantly higher amounts of vitamin A—often several times the recommended daily amount—which may pose risks! Moreover, supplementing with vitamin A in the form of beta-carotene is often ineffective, as the body's conversion processes are not sufficiently efficient (beta-carotene is a precursor of vitamin A).

Maximizing the product's absorption and effectiveness is extremely important to us, which is why  the product's carrier is MCT oil, which ensures excellent bioavailability.

Fat-soluble vitamins are also perfectly absorbed when applied to the skin, and may even be better utilized. Therefore, they can also be safely dosed by spreading them on the skin.

Dosage: 1 × 12 drops daily (for adults), Children (12–15 years): 6–10 drops, Children (1–12 years): 4–5 drops, Children (up to 1 year): 3 drops

Keep the product out of the reach of children, in a dry, cool, dark place. In case of hypersensitivity to fat-soluble vitamins (e.g. redness or rash on the skin), discontinue use of the product. Especially for children, it is advisable to perform a skin test beforehand to rule out sensitivity to the ingredients. The area behind the ear is ideal for this, as the skin there is very thin and sensitive. If you are taking blood thinners, consult your doctor! It is strongly recommended to separate taking food supplements from coffee consumption. They should be taken at least half an hour before drinking coffee or a minimum of 2 hours after drinking coffee. Taking food supplements with dairy products is not recommended! If you take several food supplements, consult a specialist about the order in which it is advisable to take them to avoid any potential antagonistic effects between the active ingredients.
