Licorice - Liquiritae radix

It helps relieve intestinal spasms, making it beneficial for bloating. It increases the secretion of digestive juices and improves appetite. It has a favorable anti-inflammatory effect in cases of gastric mucosal inflammation and mucosal injuries caused by hyperacidity.

Due to its mucolytic effect, it acts as an expectorant, relieves catarrh, and suppresses coughing.
It normalizes liver enzyme levels and alleviates chronic hepatitis (it is especially recommended in cases of unhealthy diet, alcohol, and drug consumption).

Preparation: Pour 1.5 dl of boiling water over 3-5 g of tea in a cup. Cover and let it steep for 5-10 minutes, then strain.
