Wormwood - Absinthi herba

Tea made from wormwood is an excellent stomach tonic, appetite stimulant, digestive aid, blood purifier, and anthelmintic. Therefore, it can be used against colic, liver disorders, nervous stomach complaints, insufficient gastric acid, jaundice, and dropsy, as well as a diuretic.

Preparation: Pour 2 dl of boiling water over 1 teaspoon of wormwood and let it steep for 10 minutes. Drink 1 cup twice a day. For loss of appetite, consume it half an hour before meals. For the treatment of inflammation, it can be effectively combined with St. John's wort and yarrow.
