Clearspring Organic Black Tahini is made for us by a third-generation European family producer, where they have been crafting tahini since 1949. Clearspring Organic Tahini uses the finest, carefully selected, 100% organic whole black sesame seeds. The black sesame seeds are roasted and then ground into a smooth paste. Black sesame tahini has a stronger, richer, and slightly nuttier flavor than white or whole sesame tahini. This unusual black paste adds contrast to dishes and is perfect on its own or drizzled over salads and steamed vegetables.
