It belongs to the category of gilled mushrooms. Its scent and taste are similar to porcini mushrooms, making it suitable for culinary use. In Eastern medicine, there is a millennial tradition of using medicinal mushrooms—including the shaggy mane—for health maintenance and the treatment of various diseases. Folk usage is also supported by laboratory experiments.
Active ingredients/daily dose: polysaccharides 120mg, comatin 36mg
Ingredients: Shaggy mane mushroom powder, gelatin, colorant: titanium dioxide.
Dosage: For preventive purposes (immune support, pre-diabetes), 2 capsules twice daily are recommended after meals. In case of diagnosed diabetes—based on a doctor's advice and by increasing the dosage—it can be used as an adjunctive therapy, with a dosage of up to 3 capsules three times daily. It has no side effects or contraindications.
