Dandelion leaf - Taraxaci radix

It lowers blood sugar levels and plays an important role in preventing vascular complications and retinopathy. Its bitter active ingredients stimulate appetite, aid digestion, and strengthen the stomach. It has diuretic and choleretic effects and reduces stomach acid. In folk medicine, it is used as a mild laxative. It is also recommended for gout, rheumatism, and eczema.

Preparation: Pour 2 dl of boiling water over 1 tablespoon of leaves, let it steep for 5 minutes, then strain. The beneficial effects are in the bitter substances, so try not to sweeten it! Consume 2 mugs daily.
