Kaolin has a smoothing, soothing, cleansing, detoxifying, loosening, texture-improving, and regenerating effect on the skin. It is excellent for acne-prone, inflamed skin, but can be used for all skin types. Not only does it detoxify, but it is also capable of binding heavy metals.
As a mask: Use as a mattifying, nourishing mask for all skin types. Mix 2-3 teaspoons of clay with enough water to form a paste. Apply evenly to your face, neck, and décolletage using circular motions. Leave on for 15-20 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water.
As a hair mask, use a larger amount, apply to the entire length of the hair, and after the processing time, wash with shampoo to ensure the clay is completely removed. As a final step, you can enhance the effect with a conditioner.
It can also be mixed into bath cosmetic bases in various percentages.
Recommended use: Can be used for making face masks, body wraps, mineral makeup, soaps, bath bombs, and in cosmetics. It is a beautiful coloring agent in soap. By adding glycerin or honey, you can prevent the mask from drying out, so it will not irritate sensitive skin.
