Detailed product description

Thyme was used by the Egyptians for embalming, while the Greeks used it as a substitute for incense in temples. Its spread throughout Europe is attributed to the Romans, as they used it to purify living rooms and to flavor cheeses and liqueurs. Medieval knights believed that it gave courage to those who wore it. Its essential oil is a key active ingredient in modern oral cosmetic products.
