Detailed product description
Chamomile flower - Matricaria chamomilla
The essential oils in chamomile have anti-inflammatory properties, making it useful for inflammatory conditions of the digestive tract and respiratory system. Regular consumption relieves stomach complaints, eases intestinal cramps, and aids bowel movements.
As a mouthwash, it is recommended for relieving symptoms of gum, mouth, and throat inflammation. Chamomile steam inhalation alleviates symptoms of coughs and viral respiratory infections, clears the airways, and reduces sinusitis.
Externally, it can be used to effectively treat skin conditions, pimples, acne, abscesses, slow-healing wounds, or nail bed inflammation.
As a bath, it can be used for hemorrhoids, slow-healing wounds, and vaginal inflammation.
For eye inflammation, used as a wash, it reduces inflammatory symptoms and relieves eye itching.
Chamomile is an excellent antispasmodic, making it effective for bloating, intestinal cramps, stomach cramps, and menstrual cramps. During childbirth, it relieves the laboring woman's spasms and pain, has a calming effect on the mother, and prepares for and facilitates the birth.
Chamomile can also be used for babies to alleviate symptoms of colds and coughing. In this case, the steaming chamomile infusion should be placed in the nursery, and the chamomile steam will have a beneficial effect.
Chamomile flower infusion is also used for hair care in blondes, as it beautifully lightens the hair, makes it healthy and shiny, and eliminates scalp itching.
Preparation: Pour boiling water over 2 teaspoons of chamomile, then cover and let stand for 10 minutes. Once strained, it can be consumed sweetened with honey. You can drink 3-4 cups a day. A course of consumption is recommended for a maximum of 4 weeks.
