Detailed product description
Millet is one of the oldest grains, and its fiber and amino acid content make it worth incorporating into our diet. It can be used in a very wide range of ways.
No additives are added to the millet during the preparation of the porridge, nor is anything removed from it, so all the nutrients naturally present in millet are also found in the porridge. This means you can enjoy this grain, rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals, not only as a side dish but also for breakfast!
Millet has a slightly higher fat content than other grains, so it goes rancid more easily. It may be worth storing it refrigerated after opening.
Preparation: Pour over with twice the amount of hot water or plant-based milk and let stand for 5–10 minutes. It can be enjoyed sweet or savory, according to taste, and flavored with carob powder, cinnamon, fruit, or vegetables.
It can also be used for thickening.
