Due to its liver cell-regenerating effect, it is suitable for complementing the medical therapy of alcohol-induced liver damage. In the treatment of alcohol-induced liver damage, a curative effect can be expected if alcohol consumption is ceased. The silymarin-type active ingredients of milk thistle fruit are hepatoprotective. The saponin and flavonoid components of true licorice have anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties and form a protective coating on the gastric mucosa. Nettle leaf contains mineral salts and chlorophyll; the latter has anti-inflammatory and epithelializing effects. Due to its high mucilage content, marshmallow leaf forms a protective coating in the gastrointestinal tract. Agrimony flowering shoot contains tannins and flavonoids, which have a beneficial effect in the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the gallbladder and bile ducts. The tea blend does not contain any natural or artificial excipients.
