St. John's Wort - Hyperici herba
St. John's Wort is one of the most effective natural stress-relieving herbs, with the advantage that it does not cause dependency like sedative medications. It is also effective for sleep disorders caused by stress.
Its infusion is also recommended for those suffering from hypothyroidism, as it optimizes thyroid dysfunction and normalizes the hormonal balance.
In case of bruises and contusions, it can be used as a compress. It accelerates absorption and reduces swelling.
For inflammations, it can be used as a mouthwash or a compress. For example, in the case of inflammatory gum diseases, or for treating boils and acne on the skin.
Preparation: Pour 2.5 dl of boiling water over 1 tablespoon of the tea herb and let it steep for 10 minutes. Strain it and consume warm, without additives, 2-3 cups per day.
