Cleavers - Galium aparine herb

It is also a great help in cases of thyroid disorders. It is beneficial for both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. In cases of thyroid enlargement (goiter) and thyroid nodules, one should gargle with tea made from cleavers and also drink the tea. It is advisable to apply the used tea leaves as a compress to the affected neck area. To regulate thyroid function, it is recommended to consume 2 cups of tea daily, preferably before meals.

Preparation: Pour boiling water over one level tablespoon (3 g) of the dried herb, and strain after 15 minutes. Do not use a metal strainer.
