Detailed product description
Rosemary leaf - Rosmarini folium
Rosemary is primarily used as a spice for seasoning roasted meats and pizza sauces. Its characteristic flavor profile makes it a perfect herb, but it also possesses numerous medicinal properties. Its infusion can be used for digestive disorders and to enhance liver and gallbladder function. It has appetite-stimulating, carminative, choleretic, and diuretic properties.
Externally, it is used as a topical rub to alleviate joint and rheumatic complaints, and for the treatment of wounds and eczema.
The active ingredients in rosemary have antibacterial, antiviral, antioxidant, mildly antiseptic, antispasmodic, choleretic, hepatoprotective, and anti-inflammatory effects.
Warning! Consumption is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding!
Preparation: Add 1 level teaspoon of rosemary leaves to 2 dl of boiling water and boil for 2-3 minutes. Then, remove from heat, let it stand for another 3-4 minutes, and strain. Consume no more than 2 cups per day.
