Detailed product description

An extract made from the sweet leaves of the stevia herb. A white, powdered sweetener that can be used to sweeten tea, coffee, soft drinks, sweet soups, sauces, cakes, creams, and mousses. It is very sweet; a level teaspoon of the powder (approx. 1 g) is equivalent to the sweetening power of approx. 300 g (approx. 20 tablespoons) of sugar. It can be used dissolved in a little water or in powder form, and is highly economical. If you happen to add too much, it may create a bitter aftertaste. In such cases, we recommend increasing the other ingredients in the recipe; for example, if you made 1 dl of lemonade, it is worth increasing the amount of water and lemon juice by 3–4 times to achieve a pleasant lemonade flavor.
