Our organic sauce thickener is based on finely ground whole grain rice flour, has a neutral flavor, and is suitable for both light and dark sauces. And it is this simple: bring 250 ml of liquid (water, stock, milk, sauce, or vegetable cooking water) to a boil. Whisk 1.5 tablespoons of organic sauce thickener with 3 tablespoons of cold water until smooth. Slowly stir into the boiling liquid, bring to a boil briefly, and season to taste. Done. Tip: It is truly delicious as a vegan hollandaise, béchamel sauce, or béchamel variants such as curry, herb, or mustard sauce. For these, simply stir in the curry, herbs, or mustard at the end.
