Merlot grapes are a red wine grape variety known throughout the world and, according to international classification, are one of the major blue grape varieties. It is an ancient French variety, most likely originating in Bordeaux. Thanks to its special Demeter (biodynamic) cultivation, it has an exceptionally intense, fruity flavor.
